We specialise in residential architecture, from home extensions to bespoke family homes and residential developments. Whether it's a garden room, a full refurbishment or a new build, we bring the same care, creativity and attention to detail. We work across London and the South East, with projects spanning from London and East Sussex to Essex and the Cotswolds.

Rift takes its name from a geological fracture, the point where the earth's layers are exposed and its materials laid bare. It reflects our approach: an honest use of materials, working with rather than against their natural properties, and a belief that a building and it's details should reveal how it's made. This material honesty, rooted in place and a heritage of craft and fabrication, sits at the centre of everything we design
