Rift Architects is a architectural practice designing beautiful, sustainable homes from garden rooms and refurbishments to bespoke new builds and residential developments across London, the South East and beyond.

Rift takes its name from a geological fracture, where the earth's layers are exposed and its materials laid bare. It reflects our approach designing with an honest use of materials, working with their natural properties rather than against them.

That material honesty extends to how we build: low-carbon construction and considered material choices that lower embodied carbon and running costs, so homes perform as well as they look.

Our team has held leadership roles at some of the UK's leading architecture practices, and teaching positions at several UK universities, bringing professional rigour and design innovation to every home we design.
